How do you check Backlinks for your website?
After many sleepless nights, tiring weeks and repetitive tasks of optimizing your website by building links of whatever link building methods you think is useful either; one-way link, reciprocal linking or even link buying – it’s about time to see the results; checking how many Backlinks were indexed by major search engines (Google, Yahoo & Bing).
Each search engines (Google, Yahoo & Bing) has their own ways of providing Backlink reports. And also, there are free SEO tools that provide a more detailed Backlinks report.
The following are the most used Backlink checker tools that will help you determine the number of Backlinks search engines have recognized / or indexed.

Now, with the latest news of the completion of algorithmic transition to Bing, Yahoo! Search has merged Site Explorer into Bing Webmaster Tools. Webmasters should now be using the Bing Webmaster Tools to ensure that their websites continue to get high quality organic search traffic fromBing and Yahoo!
The Backlink Watch – http://www.backlinkwatch.com – Type the “URL of your website” to get a detailed report of the Backlinks pointing to your website. It will display the “anchor” text, PageRank, total outbound links on that page, and Nofollow flag for each of your inbound link available. The Link Popularity Check Tool – http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/link-popularity.html – This SEO tool will check the link popularity of your websites, and provides analysis how many pages are linking to your page on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Blekko and AltaVista.
Of course, there are still many SEO (search engine optimization) tools out there that will surely help you determine the number of Backlinks indexed by search engines, but for now these free backlinks checker tools are my favourites.
